In 2025, I published a somewhat pedagogical paper in New Astronomy Reviews on Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN), which was the process in which the lightest elements were formed in the early universe. BBN remains a highly robust and precise theory that informs modern cosmological theory; it serves as a constraint on the density of baryon density in the universe, constrained through Omega b.
